So, Hewin’ Goals is go. We’ve performed the show 4 times, to wildly different audiences in a number of very different venues! All have been enjoyable for us and warmly received by those watching. The comments book proves it, and we’ll be publishing highlights of that in due course.
There is something very special about making theatre that truly connects with the local people. These stories are true, and they come from the same villages and towns as we, the performers do. We’re in this together, some foppish politician once said. Well, we really are in this one together! That’s why we come off stage each night feeling proud, charmed and honoured. These stories have captivated us for the past 6 weeks. Now the people of the region have the chance to join us and revel in their unique and extraordinary nature!
So please, get along to a performance! This show will make you proud to be northern, british, a human! It will make you want to watch normal people get muddy on saturday afternoons for the love of it!
All shows start at 7pm, running time is 2 hours including 15 minutes of half time.
